CS 9.2 Updates

Timeline for the CS 9.2 upgrade:

 

10 PM Friday June 30^th - 2 am Saturday July 1^st

• myWSU will go offline and the Maintenance Page will be displayed in place of the login page for the duration of the CS 9.2 project
• EIT sites and applications that interface with myWSU will go offline and maintenance pages will be displayed until after CS 9.2 is operational and the sites have been updated on Monday July 3rd
• Other myWSU support systems will be suspended (NID creation, WSU Payments page)

2:00 am Saturday July 1^st – Monday July 3^rd

• myWSU offline and OMCS completes CS 9.2 upgrade project with an expected duration to extend into the afternoon of Monday July 3^rd

Monday July 3^rd

• *This step is still in process as of 4 p.m., 3 critical issues found needing OMCS resolution.* Once OMCS alerts ES that the Upgrade complete, ES will need 3-5 hours to complete post install work and test the new CS 9.2 instance.
  • *This step has been completed* EIT staff will make changes necessary for web services and test (Web service work can happen before general system availability)
• Once ES has completed testing, points of contact are expected to test some of their daily routines and confirm all is well. ES will provide an email update Monday morning to assist in planning the day to be ready for the testing phase of the weekend activities.
• Expected timeline for functional users (aka points of contact) to begin testing is late afternoon, issues found should be submitted to the ES ticketing system as usual
• EIT will alert points of contact as EIT sites and applications become available.
